INTRODUCTION TO SOURDOUGH
Sourdough is the bread of the moment! It is bread that has been made for centuries with just flour, water, salt and time.
But what is a starter? How do you manage it? How can I fit it in around a busy life? Why is sourdough better for me? Just some of the questions that will all be answered on this course.
I will take you through ingredients, processes and shaping techniques. We will make about 5 different breads, have morning tea, a delicious lunch, and you’ll have all the recipes, a pot of my starter and a big bag of delicious bread, that you have made yourself, to take home.
